Production Begins

As we move forward in our Midtown 34th Street project, we would like to thank all the neighbors ( specifically the neighbor's children), for helping us plant, move, and clear the lot.

Thank you so much to Shell Lumber, Galloway Farms, Marcus Thompson from Permaculture Miami, Anna Blash from Earth N Us farm and many others who are showing their support to make the project successful.

We received trees from the County's tree give away and started planting right away.

Mulch from One 2 Tree was donated today and we also received a generous donation of soil from Sommerset Farms!

We obtained our fencing permit from the City of Miami and are now ready to begin building our fence. However, a code inspector came today to give us problems about our Mobile Eco Live work units.

I am now actively pursuing a meeting with the mayor of Miami, the head of zoning and any potential allies we may have to rally support for our small sustainable community initiative.

Wish us luck!

Herb Spiral

We received a nice plant donation from Galloway Farms of Miami.
Last Saturday we planted this small herb spiral with the concrete debris from the lot as a frame.

As we solidify our design plans, we will begin planting more of the plants and trees that were included in the donation.
Thank you Galloway Farms!
